Oven door hinge
The part ordered arrived within a few days. This was a quality spare part for a Hotpoint oven. There were no instructions on installation but there were plenty of video tutorials on YouTube to explain the installation. I was very satisfied with the service of Ransom Spares, even with pandemic restrictions. Most importantly, the part was significantly cheaper than buying it from Hotpoint or elsewhere on the internet. I would definitely use Ransom Spares again.

Very good, came quick was easy to fit, still abit tight as when I open oven door it starts to close back on its own.

i have hotpoint eg900x .does this hinge fit both the left and right hinges.what is the difference between this hinge Part Number: RS15369 and other hinge listed for eg900x Part Number: RS8477.i need both the left and right hinge.

Hi Jason. RS15396 is the correct hinge for your model. This hinge will be compatible with both sides of the oven.

I bought 2 of these hinges. Despite watching numerous YouTube videos i cannot release the hinge locking mechanism so i can re-fit the oven door. Any help would be appreciated, many thanks.
Hi Angela, unfortunately we cannot offer technical information. I'd recommend contacting an engineer to see if they can advise.
