I have called out the local repairman in the past to fit these types of parts but decided to do it myself this time having watched a video on Youtube. All went to plan and the oven is working fine again now.

A problem with the oven had been discovered when we moved into the house 18 mths ago but we thought it would be expensive getting a service engineer out to do the job. As it happened once supplies had been isolated and the the back cover had been removed it was a simple job to meggar each element to find which one was faulty, as it happened bottom elements in the main and small oven had gone Order placed with Ransomes and three days later new element arrived and fitted in 20 minutes .
