Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
This is a genuine bottom heater element in stainless steel operating at 1000W.
It's at the base of your oven, sending heat upward. You can grill, broil, or roast food on the bottom rack. It can also crisp, caramelise, or brown your dishes depending on the temperature you set before cooking.
When the oven isn't reaching the set temperature or isn't heating at all, or if you notice visible signs of damage such as blisters, cracks, or breaks on the element, it’s time to change it with this replacement part.
This bottom heater element is from AEG. You can also check with the other suitable brands from the list above.
Before ordering, please verify that this part is suitable for your model using our compatibility checker.
Perfect fit, oven now up and working perfectly again
Good quality product and price is ok but with my Electrolux oven it has to be fitted from the back
This element sits in a tray which slides in and out at the back of the cooker. Take care to ensure the sides of the existing wrap is hard against the sides of the oven to ensure the tray slides out and back in without snagging the wrap. I used a piece of thin hard cardboard between the tray and wrap and carefully slid and wriggled the tray into position; then do not forget to remove the cardboard! I found this repair and element to be satisfactory and we now have a top and bottom oven again.
Hello, Is this a genuine Zanussi replacement element?
Hi Mike, I can confirm this is a genuine Zanussi Electrolux element.
Hi our oven has been cleaned professionally and now it will only heat up to 160 c any ideas ?
Hi Pauline, unfortunately we're unable to diagnose faults. I'd recommend contacting an engineer who would be able to work out the required parts.
