Traps airborne grease from the extracted air so it does not coat the hood inside.
Tick the symptoms your appliance is showing. We’ll tell you how confident we are this part is the fix.
General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your cooker hood.
Safety: Switch the hood off before you start.
Maintaining a clean and healthy kitchen atmosphere depends heavily on the fan grease filter in the cooker hood. It catches and holds grease vapours produced during cooking. In most cases, the filter is made of layers or sheets of material, such metal or mesh, with tiny gaps that let air through while trapping grease.
The filter in the cooker hood traps grease particles as grease- and cooking-odour-laden kitchen air is pulled into it.
The filter's ability to capture grease particles is diminished by the buildup of grease and cooking residue. Over time, there will be less airflow, more noise, and ineffective ventilation.
A damaged or torn filter may also allow grease to pass through it and build up in the cooker hood or ducting, leading to subpar performance and potential hygiene problems.
This fan grease filter fits most commercial cookers, hobs, and ovens. Take out the old grease filter and install the new one according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Exactly as described, easy to fit, filters out the grease....
Went to the local showroom who fitted our kitchen and ask where I could get a filter for our extractor fan. As they did not stock this item went on the computer and gave me Ransom Spares website and the code I required. Went on and easily found the item and ordered it. Arrived in the timescale they gave me, cut to size, fitted it in no time, job done.
The filter was a bit too big for the hood, but I cut it down and folded in the sides, using the cover for guidance. That gave me some doubled-up coverage. The springs went back in OK. Job done.
a good replasement & easy to fit! Speedy del'y & value for money.
The product arrived very quickly. It was super easy to fit. Overall great customer service from Ransom.
