Genuine ventilator motor replacement for your cooker hood’s extractor fan.
Powers the fan that removes smoke, steam, odours, and grease from your kitchen while you cook. This helps maintain a fresh and clean cooking environment.
If the motor feels excessively hot to the touch after running for a while, this could indicate an internal issue. Overheating can lead to further damage and should be addressed immediately. Change it with this replacement part.
This ventilator motor for your cooker hood is from Lamona. Also fits Baumatic cooker hoods.

fast and reliable service, easy to deal with and quality part.
Ordered this product. Good value for money, quick delivery, and easy fitting. Would recommend.
I can only relay the comments the electrician who fitted this for me made at the time. First he was surprised that I had not ordered the whole fan assembly rather than the motor. I told him that I had not been able to find one that matched the model number of the cooker hood. The cables to the new motor had a plug attached which had to be cut off so that the wires could be connected directly to an existing connector block. However the colour coding of the wires was identical. Apart from that it took him less than an hour to fit and reassemble the hood, so not too complicated and did the job.
Our 10 year old Howdens oven extractor had stopped working, so rather than scrap it and buy new at £200+ i bought a new motor, capacitor just in case, switch and two new mesh filters, the hardest part wasn't fitting the parts rather cleaning it all in prep, once fitted it works a treat and is like new, as long as you isolate the unit properly its all only held together with screws and is easy to swap out the parts, save me well over 50% of the cost of a new unit. Don't be afraid to fix things rather than throw things away.
Hi, Will this motor fit on a Lamona HJA 2460 Cooker Hood? I have replaced the capacitor and switch, but look's like the motor is at fault. Thanks, Manish.
Hi Manish, the motor listed for your model is RS396115.
