Good product
I used an electrician to fit this part and it took him a while to fit. I suggested he read the reviews beforehand but he didn't, then found he had to go back and get his soldering kit. Pleased with the job and product in the end.

PCB switch assembly
I found this swich assembly so easy to fit, as long as you are able to resolder the wiring. Refit the wiring one wire at a time, bare back the insulation to a new bit (approx. 5mm) keeping the new end clean. Resolder the new wiring ends after tinning the copper end of the newly bared wire end. Do all the work with the old switch in situ. so you won't mix up the wiring. An electric soldering iron and multicore solder are a must have, nothing else will do.

Product as described, fairly tricky to fit , soldering iron required
New board requires soldering onto existing wiring in situ, would be easier if the board came with wires pre soldered which could then be connected to existing feed wires.

hi. Are there 6 screw positions on the bottom of control box (not visible in piture), 4 screws holding the unit together, 2 positions to attach the metal bracket so it can be secured in the front of the hood. Cheers
