Best price around, fast delivery and easy to fit. Overall, I was really pleased with the service from Ransom Spares. The replacement part has been improved on the previous design so the control panel buttons are much sturdier and unlikely to snap off after a period of time. £90+ seems a bit expensive, hence the lower value rating but compared to other supplies, Ransom Spares were the cheapest.

We ordered this control part for our Cooker Hood and it was very easy to fit and the style of the switches had changed but still fitted well.

This is a revised design from that originally shipped with the hood. I had to replace the original component with a replacement that had the same design. This failed in the same manner as the original through plastic fatigue. I was therefore wary about paying for a new printed circuit because a flimsy piece of plastic had snapped. The new design has the buttons balanced correctly and are free to slide in and without a plastic hinge. In addition the buttons are now correctly aligned with the micro switches on the pcb. I have much more confidence that the part will now last. Marked down on value because two of these components are nearly as much as the original hood.
