It's a genuine button switch set for your cooker hood’s extractor fan. Designed to control the operation of the extractor fan in a kitchen hood. With a wire to connect the switch set to the hood's electrical system.
Switch sets have multiple speed settings. Has 5 buttons you can push when you want to adjust fan speed based on cooking activity and smoke/steam levels.
You can also set the lighting for more visibility while you cook. Less chances of injuring yourself while cooking.
This button switch set is from Baumatic. Also fits other cooker hood brands like Lamona.

Excellent product, fast delivery and value for money, easy to fit / replace. Having identified the model no. using the website it was easy to pick from the drop down menu , that it fitted my model .. therefore able to buy in confidence.

Easy to fit
The only slight problem was the wires. They are push fit so I cut the wires as close to the part as possible, stripped them and inserted them in the new part. NOTE: They should probably be tinned with a soldering iron before insertion for best results.

Easy peasy
Good replacement, not exactly the same as the original but close enough. Easy to fit, just need to drop the fan to get to the junction box underneath it, but that's a design issue rather than anything to do with this product. 20 minute job. Extractor hood works great now.

I am trying to fix a Baumatic BT7.1GL where all button controls work apart from the light. This works to switch on the light but then immediately goes off and only stays on if I slightly tilt and hold the button so guess some faulty connection. Cannot seem to repair so looking for a replacement unit. Is your RS265736 compatible please (website says unable to check). Very many thanks

Is this a sealed unit and if so does it come with the cable? I need to replace the switch unit on my Baumatic F70.2BL but i'm not sure if i can open this unit to wire it up.

Where do I find my baumatic cooker hood serial number please?

Hi Ian, the model number is normally found inside the cooker hood or on the side of the cooker hood casing. To check inside, you will normally need to remove the metal filters.
