Part arrived very promptly, and fitted exactly as specified.

The Bosch garden shredder axt 25 tc, uses this blade. It maintains a close distance with the turbine cutting cone and can be adjusted with a screw tab on the side to close up the gap when it wears. Eventually, you run out of guide plate and this spare part replaces it. It is easy to replace, just take off the top securing bar (one screw). tap the old guide out from underneath (it will be jammed in with debris), clean up the housing and drop the new one in. Adjust the distance screw back first, then put everyting back together and adjust the screw for a good cut. The cutting cone is very expensive and you might as well get a new shredder, but this bit lasts for about 5 years depending on use. I have had mine for at least 15 years and it just keeps going!

The Chopper Guide block works well, consequentially the shredder is back to working as well as it did when new. There was a problem in that the steel cylindrical rod was slightly larger diameter than the original and was also a few thousands of an inch longer on both ends. Both ends length had to be shortened to enable the block to be installed. It was not necessary to change the diameter. Considering the Shredder was purchased in 2009 and is back to working well I am pleased

The shredder part supplied was easily fitted. All good.

Over the last two seasons, my Bosch shredder has worked long and hard. Then it started to clog up quite easily. l noticed that that guide plate looked worn so I ordered a replacement and found it very easy to replace. Just undo one screw and pop it out. The new guide has made such a difference with the shredder performing as new. Well worth the relatively small expense.
