This is a genuine fuel primer bulb for your chainsaw.
Helps get fuel into the carburetor before you start your chainsaw. When you press the bulb, it draws fuel from the tank and pushes it into the carburetor
If you press the primer bulb and it doesn’t inflate back to its original shape, this could indicate a blockage in the fuel line or a problem with the bulb itself. It should easily return to its shape after you release it. Change it with this replacement part.

Primer Bubble
I think the old primer fell victim of 'modern' petrol. the new one was simple to fit and will let the good old Partner live to saw another day.

changing fuel primer? easy!
my local mower man said the primer on my Partner chainsaw couldn't be replaced, but a google search came up with ransoms, the part was available and inexpensive, the website ordering process was straightforward, the part arrived in a few days and with the supplied instructions it was very easy to fit. Chainsaw starts fine, with no petrol leaks! I've even got 2 spare screws as my old ones were fine... Very happy.
