Husqvarna Chainsaw Starter Pulley Wheel Reel530057890

My Husky 236 seems to get through one of these every year. Brilliant saw, starts every time. Pity they made the part from plastic as it's the only thing I have had to replace apart from the usual service stuff. Good you can come back to Ransom, Pop in the part number and its with you in a few days.

I was disappointed in the part that is used. Its a Husqvarna chainsaw and, from my knowledge of Husqvarna, they make good, reliable equipment. Not so in this case. How can they use a plastic Starter Pulley wheel? I bought the saw less than 2 years ago and have not used it much, so how a part can become worn/damaged in such a short time is beyond me, except that it is cheap plastic! I bought the saw from Celtic Trading Company in Cornwall and, with a 2 year guarantee assumed they would replace the faulty part. So far they have been totally unhelpful so I had to buy the replacement part from a different supplier and try (so far unsuccessfully) to claim back the cost from Celtic Trading. I contacted 6 different Huskie suppliers of which only 2 even replied. One of those told me that it is only possible to buy the whole backing unit costing around £60, the other being Jack at Ransoms. For little more than a tenner, Jack sent the part, efficiently and speedily. Excellent service, thank you Ransoms, I`ll use you again. As a final piece, the part was a pig to fit! Putting the spring back onto the housing was a nightmare, but I managed it and the saw is as good as ever. Thank you Ransoms.

I had a issue with this part in my chain saw a couple of years ago and my local garden service centre charged me £35 for the part. I will continue to use ransoms for all my garden equipment parts , great price , speedy delivery . 👍🏻👍🏻
