Description
No more uneven cooking and temperature changes with a well-lit oven
The oven has a light bulb and glass lens that brighten the interior, allowing you to monitor your dishes without opening the door and affecting the temperature. The lens ensures even light distribution.
Why do you change the bulb and lens assembly in the oven?
You'll know it's time for a change when the bulb burns out with frequent use. If the lens becomes cracked, discoloured, or scratched, it can hamper the distribution of light and its efficiency. Replacing this assembly isn't just about functionality; it's also a safety measure.
Would this work with my oven?
This light bulb and glass lens is a genuine Smeg oven replacement part. It also fits Diplomat, Homark, and White Westinghouse cookers and hobs. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.

a simple solution
The original part had corroded and fallen apart. This replacement was slightly different but seemed an improved design and was easy to install. Its amazing what difference a light makes after cooking in the dark for some time, no more burnt dinners.
