There are 8 evenly spaced teeth in *total* on this wheel. This is enough grip to drive the blade without problems, apparently. The part is high quality. I would have liked it to be cheaper with no bearing but in fairness getting the shaft or bearing off the outgoing, worn gear would have been a nightmare.
