Blue dispenser syphon for fabric softeners and detergents
The dispenser, which holds the fabric softener and detergents, releases them during the rinse cycle. It contains a reservoir or cup that is kept inside the top panel or agitator of the washing machine. During the rinse cycle, water enters the dispenser, diluting the laundry products.
When the water level in the washer rises, the diluted fabric softener gets drawn into the drum where it is evenly distributed throughout the clothing.
Why does it get clogged or faulty?
Over time, mineral deposits and fabric softener residue accumulate. If the dispenser is not consistently cleaned, these deposits reduce the water flow and make the softener ineffective.
Clogs can also be created by using excessive amounts of fabric softener or by utilising concentrated, thick solutions that are not intended for dispensers. Mechanical flaws like a damaged syphon mechanism or a dispenser valve can also contribute to dispensing issues.

Good, fits properly
This fitted the powder drawer perfectly on my Bosch Logixx8 washing machine. Like so many spares, it is very expensive for a piece of injection moulded plastic but that is the way with spares I guess; I certainly couldn't find it for less money anywhere else.
