Description

Door hinge spring for smoothly opening your dishwasher door

The dishwasher door spring ensures smooth opening and closing. Stretchy coils on each side connect the door to the dishwasher, keeping it closed during dishwashing and ensuring secure closure.

When do you replace the door hinge spring?

If you notice any of these issues or if the door hinge spring appears visibly damaged, stretched, broken, or disconnected, replace it.

Works perfectly

Using this part and RS58272 it was possible (although hard work) to replace the broken rope & spring assembly on our Siemens SN66M054GB. When the string snapped the force of the spring recoil broke part of the plastic housing, but the new spring part fits into the gap perfectly.
