Description

Grease filters capture and trap grease in your cooker hood

Stove hoods with grease-collecting filters catch and hold fat and grease as you cook. These filters prevent grease buildup through layers of fine mesh or metal grids. Grease builds up in the ducts and vents without them.

Why do you need to replace the grease filter?

The filter becomes saturated with grease and affects its ability to capture grease particles effectively and restricts the airflow. A clogged or dirty grease filter can hinder the cooker hood's performance and decrease suction power, poor odour extraction, and grease buildup in the exhaust system.

A saturated filter can become a breeding ground for bacteria, mould, and unpleasant odours.

Would this fit in my cooker hood?

This metal grease mesh filter by Bosch is a genuine cooker hood replacement part. It also fits Balay, Constructa, Junker, Junker & Ruh, Lynx, Neff, Pitsos, Profilo, Siemens, Superser, Tecnik, and Viva cooker hoods. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.

This was the only place I could find grease filters that fit my oven hood. I was happy that I could get them. Product is as described, the only downside is the cost which is 50% more that what these normally cost. Is that why its called "Ransom Spares"?

How do I check which model my Bosch cooker hood is please? Where do I find the model number? Thank you
By Jasmine - Bath - 04/10/2021
Hi Jasmine, the model number is normally found inside the cooker hood or on the side of the cooker hood casing. To check inside, you will normally need to remove the metal filters.
