Excellent. Much better than buying a new vacuum.
I think if you have some electrical knowledge and some patience then fitting this should be fairly easy. Unfortunately, I have neither. After taking off the cover (I had to buy a Torx9 screwdriver) you are met by a mass of inter-twined wires. The old batteries are soldered to the circuit bored so you have to cut the wires (close to the batteries) leaving you plenty of wire to connect the new battery to. In hindsight, having a couple of wire connectors ready would have been useful. Pretty easy to connect up. The performance of the new batteries is excellent. Whereas before, with the old batteries, it would struggle to do one room it now does the complete house and still has some charge left. Excellent. Much better than buying a new vacuum. More fun and better for the planet.

perfect replacement
Needed the batteries for a three year old AEG rechargeable vacuum. The hand unit is held together with Torx screws but fortunately i already had a set. Once the handset was separated it was easy to get the old batteries out and insert the new ones. Ideally the pre-fitted battery wires need soldering to the circuit board. However my desoldering/ soldering skills are not great so I used a couple of small terminal blocks to connect to the old wires. That was a couple of weeks ago and it's still working well. Will definitely buy these again when the current set wear out but hopefully not for a few years.
