Great replacement but not strictly plug & play.

Given the age of cooker in question I did not expect an identical item and it was not the 1st element I have replaced. I enjoy keeping things alive, what can I say. Delivery and packaging where perfect. Connections are not like for like. Slightly different position of 'connection block' meant a rerouting of wires was needed but thankfully no extending/soldering. One less connector required some thought but paying attention to markings resolved it without further angst. Only operational issue is that the original part has a ceramic divider between the inner and outer element to contain heat which has been deleted from this one. It is noticable when using small pans but hardly a deal breaker. All in all great replacement, just be aware not strictly plug and play.

I have a AEG D98000VF slip in Electric Multifunction Double oven. Although the aforesaid is generally operating well, and whilst the two front elements are working the two rear elements on the ceramic hub have stop working. Does the aforesaid mean that the two rear elements need replacing and if so what is the cost of them please. Kind regards Mr Banham

Hi David, thanks for your message. To be sure we find the correct element, we'd need the PNC number from inside the oven (this will begin with a 9). Please fill out a part enquiry with this number and we can look in to finding the correct part.
