How To Replace Oven Light Bulbs

Video transcript:

Hi I'm Lee from Ransom Spares.  If the light in your oven has gone out then it's time to replace your oven lamp!  I'll be demonstrating on this Indesit cooker, however the procedure should be very similar no matter what make or model of oven you have.  The first thing we need to do is remove the oven bulb cover.  To do this we simply turn it anti-clockwise.

Now we can remove the oven lamp, again by turning it anti-clockwise.  To make sure we get the correct replacement lamp we need to take the details that are printed on the glass of the old bulb; this one is 25w, and 300 degrees.  99% of all oven and microwave lamps have the same thread fitting which is E14.  Now you can match up the correct bulb on our website.

Remember that oven lamps, lamp covers, and all cooker spares can be found on our website www.ransomspares.co.uk.  Thanks for watching!
