Hotpoint Oven Oven Top Trim Fixing Bracket
1. Remove oven door top plastic trim
This is the same process for both the top oven door and the bottom oven door. Remove the screw found on either side of the door.
Then remove the top plastic trim.
2. Remove old fixing bracket
Remove the fixing bracket you’re replacing and place the trim to one side.
3. Install new fixing bracket
When attaching the new fixing brackets to the plastic trim, make sure they’re the correct way round with the hole that goes into the plastic trim, not having any thread. The hole that’s left for the screw, doing so.
Insert the new fixing bracket into the top trim.
4. Re-attach oven door top plastic trim
Make sure the seals are correctly on the glass when re-attaching the plastic trim.
Re-screw the screw on either side of the door.
And that’s it, your new oven trim fixing bracket is all set to go!
