How to Replace an Oven Thermostat Clip Spring - Hotpoint

Indesit Oven Thermostat Clip Spring

1. Remove old thermostat clip spring

Remove any racks and trays from the bottom oven.

Remove trays

Then, carefully unclip the thermostat capillary tube from the back of the oven.

Either by hand or with your long-nose pliers, remove the thermostat clip spring that needs replacing.

2. Install new thermostat clip spring

Now with your new thermostat clip spring, simply slot it in the hole as shown. Make sure it’s the correct way for the thermostat capillary tube to attach.

Install new clip spring 

Then re-attach the thermostat capillary tube, making sure it’s connected in place.

Re-insert any racks and trays you removed.

That’s it, your new thermostat clip spring is all set to go.
