Hoover release foot switch
This was exactly the right part It was a little tricky to fit I knew what to expect because I removed the broken one myself. Pleased I can use my upright vacuum again safely.

Hoover release pedal
Easy to install , the section that makes contact with the pedal on the right hand side (see picture ),could do with being reinforced as this is the part that snapped off originally.

Good product & great sevice
Good product - has gotten our Hoover vacuum cleaner back to full working order after the original pedal broke. Seems tricky to fit at first but persevere. Easy to use website and good service overall.

No Spring with this
Needed two screw drivers to take old one out and this took a bit of sussing out, but was straight forwards once I had guessed what to do. Product was very easy to fit, as stated on other reviews, keep the spring from the old one as this is not supplied. I think there should be a notice of this on the product information. This is the second spare part I have fitted to this Hoover and will not be buying another one - ever

HANDLE RELEASE FOOT PEDAL.
Having bought this Handle Release Foot Pedal from Ransom Spares for My Hoover Model PU2111 2100W I found You only need Two screwdrivers to Fit it from Underneath But Remember to Keep the SPRING as the New part does not come with a New Spring,Easy Job for Any D I Yourself Person,Good Value and Quick Service from Ransom Spares,Will be Reordering again Soon for Other Parts..

A bit fiddly,but easy enough to fit.
The bottom cover,where the height adjust slider is,has just two screws.Once removed and with the whole thing turned over it just needs a couple of screwdrivers to lever the retaining clips in, to release the pedal.The new pedal just clicks into place from the top.Also the spring clip for retaing the height adjust grip may come out, but is easily replaced.
