Ransom Spares website couldn't confirm whether this part was compatible with my Flymo Roller Compact 340 mower (model: RCV340, Product No: 9643405-01), but it looked right to me so I took a chance and ordered one. I can confirm it fits the above model perfectly and my mower is now back in action. Fitting is not too difficult if you're a reasonably competent DIYer, but remember, it's a connector for mains electricity so take care. The trickiest bit was disconnecting the wires of the old retainer pin unit from the switch - the bayonet connectors prevent them being pulled out. There's a hole adjacent to each connector on the switch - gently push a small screwdriver in and, holding the connector with a small pair of plier gently twist and pull and it should come out easily. Connecting the new unit is easy, just push the connectors in and check they've clicked into place and can't pull out.
