Moneysaver!

I was very pleased to be able to find this part after being told that the cooker , at fifteen years old, was obsolete! I now have a fully functioning and controllable oven after years of wonky baking. Thank you for your excellent service.

Fitting part

Great delivery from Ransom, got a text message on the day saying what time part would be delivered, to the nearest hour and it was correct. The part itself takes about an hour to fit as you have to take the top and back off the oven. At first you don't think it's going to fit as it looks different, but you need to take the black clip off the old unit and put it on the new one. Once fitted put everything back together and it worked fine again, instead of constantly heating.

Ease of Fitting

Good product, does the job.

No problem with the oven switch, on my oven a (Belling) you need to remove an additional part from the top of the old switch, at first glance it looked like the wrong switch was sent. Allow some time to take the cooker to bits and to reassemble, a good time to give it a clean. I would not rate the job as a diy, but if you have a good bit of common sense and some time you should be able to complete the job. I only gave a 4* for ease of fitting, mainly because of the switch, having to remove the part from old one and fit to the new.
