The fan element is housed in the oven cavity behind the cooking chamber. The fan draws air from inside the oven when it is turned on and starts to spin.
The fan's air movement ensures that the hot air is dispersed consistently and uniformly throughout the oven cavity.
Why do fan oven elements fail?
Fan oven elements wear down or cease to function properly over time with the intense heat generated during cooking. If you observe that your oven is not heating up adequately, takes longer than usual to reach the desired temperature, or exhibits noticeable hot or cold spots, replace the fan element.

Fan Oven Element
Product arrived on time and was fitted to the oven - all working now. Not an issue with the product, but the original item was not the easy to remove. Needed to drill out one of the screws as it would not come undone. (CDA Oven)

Quick delivery, super helpful staff
The part seemed fine, nightmare to fit as our oven in sealed into the units either side but the best part of the service was the help received from the staff especially kevin! What a rarity to use a quick cheap service to get the parts but actually be able to speak to someone!!! Fantastic! Unfortunately, its turned out that element was fine but it was the lower element that needs replacement!!! Dahhh!!! Not the companys fault but mine. Hopefully the next one will prove easier to fit and make the oven work!!!

Great service; fitting trickier than expected
Great service - product as described, arrived within 48 hours. Only 2 stars for ease of fitting, as my particular oven has the bolts securing the element screwed in from the back, rather than accessible from the front, as per demo video - not Ransom's fault!

Quality product, could be difficult fit
So far, so good. Working well. Quality replacement. Not so easy to fit if you have to get access from the back (like me, so only 3 * for fitting), but this is a function of the cooker rather than the element.

Fiddly !
I have a Kenwood CK270 fan oven. To be fair this is the first element i have ever changed. Removing the original was fidley, but fitting the new one had problems. Basically I had to nut and bolt the element plate in place as the screws wouldnt work on the new element. (my oven seems to be different to normal ones !) Thankfully one of the guys at Ransom gave me this info, so it all got sorted but took me the best part of a day. Other than that, all working and good.
