The perfect replacement
My Bosch Excel washing machine stopped working with water in the drum and an error code indicating a pump or filter problem, which was isolated to the pump. This replacement was easy to find on the Ransom Spares website with confidence it would fit my machine. The part arrived swiftly and was easily fitted as it was an exact match with the electrical connector, inlet and outlet and filter bayonet in the identical positions as the original part.

The part didn’t work for me
I gave my full model number, The part I received wasn’t compatible for my machine so I had to reorder new part all to getter with the link which was send to me by one of your customer service agent which works but it seems their is other problem I have send return new part waiting for refund money back to credit card overall very satisfied with service

Low cost replacement pump
Found this pump very easy to fit, with only a torx driver and a set of pliers, with it taking no more than 20 minutes including manoeuvring the machine out and back in again. The pump is working well and the machine is happy again, all for less than 20 quid, including next day delivery. Very pleased indeed!

Great Value Compatible Pump
Ordered this to replace the pump on my Siemens XLP1400 washing machine. The original had lasted well at 15 years and this compatible pump was a lot cheaper that the Siemens original. Fitting was hampered by the fact that the machine has an anti-flood base which is pop riveted in place so the new pump had to be fitted through the rear which is awkward to say the least. In the end I removed the complete filter body and pump as one item and then split them. This is also a bit fiddley due to having to remove two hoses which have very tight spring clips holding them on. The easiest way to replace the pump if access is easy, which it may be on other models, is to remove the electrical connector and the screw on the left of the pump (which locks it in place) and twist the pump anticlockwise a few degrees. It just pulls off. Refitting is just a matter of inserting the pump and twisting it clockwise a few degrees and replacing the screw. You need to make sure that all three locating lugs are engaged correctly or you will get a massive leak (experience - oops!) and replace the screw and electrical connector. Its all now fitted and working well.

Bosch max 4 . WFC1600EU/01
Had a lot of trouble finding a pump for the European model Bosch. Ranson spares were the only people who came back with an answer. The machine is 15 years old so didnt want to risk the £60 on original equipment (also from Ransom) so bought the cheap aftermarket replacement which i was not sure would fit. However was a perfekt fit and works well. Should note that the amps are 0.3 not 0.2 as the original.

Brought an old machine back to life
Disconnect the mains then the hoses, tip it up and fit: there's just one screw but it's hidden away where you can't see it. I've done this a few times but this time I didn't clean out the dispenser drawers and I got some fabric conditioner on the electronics - all my own fault of course. It took a lot of effort to clean up the mess so learn from my mistake!

Easily fitted, looks almost identical to the original factory fitted item.
Very easy to fit, including the electrical connector. I noted that the pump rotor vane was slightly smaller than the original and it seems to take a little longer to pump out, but when comparing it to the cost of an 'original item', this is a small price to pay.

Previous water pump was extremely noisy. Although not an original Bosch part, the video showing how to change the part was easy to follow and made fitting simplicity itself. The improvement in the machine performance was remarkable. The new part is extremely quiet in operation - and the impact has been to make the machine sound as good in operation as the Machine was when it was new. Thank you.

Finally got the right part - thanks
Every now and then my Siemens washing machine stops pumping: it's a messy job emptying it by hand but there's no choice and I still have a huge pile of cold wet laundry so this fault spoils a very good reliable washing machine. An online rival sold me the wrong part but Ransomes explain there are two types of pump for this machine. At last - thanks to Ransomes - I have tracked down the right part. Fitting it is heavy work: you have to disconnect the machine and turn it upside down for access. The rest is simple and there are no leaks. During the replacement I discovered a 5p piece inside the pump housing and I have a sinking feeling I have just found the cause of the problem. Never mind, at least I have two motors now!
